On Monday, March 23rd, Syracuse University and the NY SMART I-Corridor hosted the New York State Nanotechnology Network (NNN) Symposium to highlight New York State’s robust student talent pipeline and create opportunities for universities and companies to exchange ideas, share cutting-edge research, and explore workforce needs across the state.

The 2026 symposium - New York State Talent & Technology: Shaping the Future - featured a dynamic morning program with talks from students, government leaders, and industry experts, followed by an interactive afternoon Poster Session and Career Fair.

Eight students presented talks and sixty-two presented posters.
